This fast is to give a feast to your souL

This has been a year marked by trouble, anxiety, and uncertainty in our world, but God has promised to move mightily on behalf of those who seek him sincerely. Fasting and prayer create in us the kind of heart that is irresistible to God. It's a time when we'll be focusing on repentance, refreshing, refocusing, and recovery.

The Lord says in - Isaiah 66:2 b

"These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.”

We are also reminded in - 2 Chronicles 16:9a

For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

So why now?

As we enter the upcoming Holidays, we are calling the Redeem body to boldly engage this fast, believing that we will enter the new year with a renewed passion for God's heart, a greater ability to hear His voice and enter the incredible promises He has for all of us!

It's simple, fast from something - food on certain days or times, media, etc. - anything to starve the flesh and feed your spirit. We want to be prayed up for this next season.
