We are looking forward to being together as a community on Saturday. Our team has been working hard on logistics to make this as safe an experience as possible outdoors. Please keep the Redeem team and volunteers in prayer as we work to make this a great time in community (even outdoors) and as we seek to glorify God together. When: Meeting Saturday’s at 6:00 PM
Where: In the parking lot of Olympic View Baptist Church 4707 Elwood Dr W, University Place, WA 98466
What you need to bring: Some chairs will be provided, but if you have them, we recommend bringing your own so you can sit together as a family.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will there be childcare? We will have class for our elementary (k-5th grade) kiddos! In order to follow COVID guidelines, kids will have seats that are 6 ft apart from each other. We will only be able to offer classes for kids who respect those boundaries, so please talk with your child beforehand about the importance of staying in their area. What will services be like? Services will be around 1 hour and 15 mins. We’ll have worship, a sermon and prayer time. To respect the neighborhood worship will be simplified but it will be awesome to worship together. Through the summer we’ll be planning fun, special activities during services. We’ll have a team there to help you park. Just follow their instruction. A big thank you to all the volunteers who will be working hard to pull this off.
Do I need to wear a mask? Please bring your own facemarks as we recommend you follow the guidelines of the CDC and Washington state. Staff and volunteers will be wearing masks and following sanitation best practices.
Can I stay in my car? Yep we have a transmitter, so set your cars to 94.7 FM to listen to the service in the car if you are in the parking lot.
Will there be restrooms? Yes, we’ll be able to use the restrooms inside OVBC.
Will we still be able to watch online? Yes, our goal is to continue to film an online sermon that will be posted on Sunday mornings.
What happens if the weather is bad? Hey, we can't control the weather. If we have to cancel because of the weather, we'll let you know ASAP on Facebook, Instagram, and e-mail. We'll have our sermon online Sunday morning for you all to watch from home.
