A message from the Wong Family

"Our family would like to begin by thanking everyone who has been praying, reaching out, and supporting us through this time".

Wes was fighting a hard battle against pneumonia and a blood clot that formed in his right lung due to COVID-19. These conditions ultimately led him to be in the hospital for 21 days. We were all very optimistic during his hospital stay as he was encouraging us to not worry and to "just keep praying". Unfortunately after 3 weeks of treatment, his oxygen levels remained too low as he was unable to breathe on his own to keep all of his organs functioning at normal capacity with the capability of healing on his own.

On February 11th, his doctor then decided that it would be best to put him in an induced coma and on life support. Only a few hours later, and after the doctors did everything they could... Wes went home and ran to our Lord Jesus Christ.

You can support the family with medical bills and funeral expenses here.

Wes was 46 years young (and he would want us to say the "young" part). He is survived by his mother Nellie, his wife JoAnne, and his 3 children Keanu, Keahi, and Malina. Also by his MANY brothers and sisters.

Wes lived his life whole-heartedly serving the Kingdom of God. He devoted his time by serving others whether it was through church handing out donuts, coaching his baseball and softball players, hosting his family events, or just being the person that you never knew you needed. You could always count on him for encouragement or for ultimate prayer. Anybody that knew Wes knows that he had a true servant's heart and was selfless.

During this difficult time, finances can be very stressful. All of the money raised will go towards paying medical and funeral expenses. And any excess funds will be used to support and bless his wife and children.

God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble
