Thank you for being interested in serving at The Break. We believe this will be a game-changing opportunity for our community. Here is how you can be involved:
1. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY.
Pray for our planning team, the Clover Park School District, every high school student that will attend, and for every volunteer & leader. We won’t be overtly sharing the gospel but pray every time someone grabs the mic or has an interaction with a kid that the gospel is felt through everything they do.

2. Help us get the word out.
Our website, social media advertising, and other digital assets will all be live Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm. We’ll have 11 days to get the word out, get kids to pre-register, and advertise for The Break. You can follow @thebreakevent on Instagram & Tik Tok. Feel free to share & repost all updates.
Also, help us canvas our community by putting up flyers at The Y, local churches, community centers, community bulletin boards, Starbucks' and any other local establishments. Our hope is to cover all of Lakewood, Steilacoom, DuPont, University Place, Parkland, and South Tacoma.
Lastly, invite your high school students to come to The Break and pre-register online at: thebreakevent.com. To help us get the word out, click here.
3. Community Resources.
Our goal is to have different community resources at every session of The Break. Resources could include; military, employment, mental health, education, etc. Agencies are invited to participate on any & all days or sessions. We would love your help in making connections with these agencies.

4. Leadership.
If you have folks that want to help out any or all days let us know. We need folks to help with (food, security, games, 3-on-3, volleyball, etc.)
*All adult volunteers will have to fill out a Young Life background check regardless of what background check info they already have. After you sign up for a slot you will be sent an email to be background checked.
